With a Masters degree in management , I decided to acquire a hands-on skill which could supplement my knowledge. That is when I did my courses in Makeup and Hair styling. Then came along the concept of Image Consultancy which was like 'connecting the dots backwards' for me. In this field I was able to use and apply all the knowledge and skills I had acquired over the years.
Q2. Kindly share some information about your Business, products and services here.
We provide group trainings to Corporates across various industries because the concept of Image management is applicable universally. Topics are Clothes, Body language, Etiquette, Grooming and hygiene, Communication , Life skills.
We also provide individual consultation to CEOs, VPs and senior level managers, Entrepreneurs.
Q3. What kind of challenges did you face while starting/doing business?
The concept of Image Management was fairly new. We had to explain the concept and talk about its importance to prospective clients.
And once they realised ( which they would have, undoubtedly), they expected immediate results.
Q4. Do share with our readers about your discovery period when you were facing difficulties in your business?
I would not refer to it as difficult period. It was more of a learning phase for me.
Q5. Share with our readers about your experiment period after the discovery period?
Experiment period taught me how to identify the needs of different organisations and its people.
Each Individual has his background and thinking pattern ; and we should never be judgemental about anyone.
Q6. What are your future plans? Or now what is your vision for the next five years?
Vision : To provide quality training services to maximum people under the umbrella of Image management and make their lives better.
Q7. How would you advice/suggest new entrepreneurs who want to start & sustain in business?
Make sure you are a people's person and ready to work really hard.
