Q1. How did your career journey start? Or Who/What inspired you to start this business/ entrepreneurship?
Over the last 18 years spent in Hospitality Sales & Marketing, I have met and worked with many talented and highly qualified people whose image did not do them justice. In fact, it was a negative and was detrimental to their growth and success.
Alongwith my experience; training sales teams in sales, soft skills and as a Licensed NLP Practitioner I realised I could use my skills to coach and empower people by working on internal/ external alignment to project a confident, positive image.

As a professional Image Coach and NLP Practitioner I coach individuals and companies to take their image to the next level. The systematic coaching is customized to impact the way they are perceived by others by evaluating the positive and negative perceptions present, and determine the best way to enhance the positive aspects.
NLP techniques are an integral factor in my group training and personal coaching.
Q3. What kind of challenges did you face while starting/doing business?
I think the greatest challenge was and continues to be awareness of the benefits of Image Management for companies and individuals.
In fact, most people I meet have preconceived notions of this term. The challenge is overcoming the unwillingness of highly placed individuals to open their minds to the entire picture that Image Management embraces
I get asked this question very often - So who needs image management ?
Everyone ! College students looking to get their first job. Housewives who want to appear more assertive and confident. Corporate professionals looking to take the next step in their career.
Companies wanting to enhance their company image through their sales teams or other
representatives in the public eye.
Corporations grooming the next generation of leaders and senior managers. There are a many talented people out there but some just do better than others because the perception of them is more positive so they tend to succeed faster and easily.
Most people mistakenly assume Image Management as Fashion Styling or Makeovers and it’s a continuous process to build the awareness that Image Management is internal/ external alignment so we project the positive aspects of our personality.
For a company their brand image or brand personality is reflected by the Image of their employees. For an individual their Image is their Personal Brand.
Q4. Do share with our readers about your discovery period when you were facing difficulties in your business?
Image Management encompasses so many aspects and the benefits of it are worth the investment. You are investing in yourself as an individual or in your own brand personality as a company.
As I mentioned earlier, the biggest challenge was overcoming preconceived notions and
building mindsets.
However, once my clients understood the value of taking their image to the next level, word of mouth assisted in growing my profile and customers.

Each client is unique whether they are an individual or a company so customisation is the key to deliver effectively. The clients goals are crucial to development and implementation of coaching effectively.
No two clients are alike, which is why we individually tailor plans to our clients. We take the time to learn our client’s need, goals, and concerns, and develop each plan around them. We coach our clients how to address their initial concerns while showing them how to achieve long term success. Whether you’re a college student looking to get ahead in today’s job market, or a company looking to hone their professional image to attract clients, Imagenation is committed to helping you achieve your goals.
Q6. What are your future plans? Or now what is your vision for next five years?
We are already present in 2 cities (Kolkata and Mumbai) and I am working towards increasing the footprint in these 2 markets. I am confident that in the next 5 years we will have a significant presence in the metro cities
Q7. How would you advice/suggest new entrepreneurs who want to start &sustain in business?
Self belief is a very important aspect as you are your own best advocate. The belief that you are the best person for a job or project and have the ability to meet any challenge turns problems into opportunities. The key is to embrace the situation and seek an opportunity or solution to every challenge that comes your way.
