Q1. How did your career journey start? Or Who/What inspired you to start this business/ entrepreneurship?

I have loved photographing for many years now and I think that it is the reason why I do photographing as an Entrepreneur.

I never really thought my business would become this big, but over time my business grew and that makes me happy!

Q2. Kindly share some information about your Business, products and services here.

So I have my business called Photography Laura Lindström. I photograph people, events but most I do Food photos for Instagram account called Heijalaura. Heijalaura is my true passion, I love doing that.

Q3. What kind of challenges did you face while starting/doing business?

I still don’t know where I gathered my courage to start my own business. At times, other people’s feedback and wonder at starting a business also caused me anxiety. I have been very lucky with my business and I have not had any bigger difficulties.

Q4. Do share with our readers about your discovery period when you were facing difficulties in your business?

I think the most important thing to say as an Entrepreneur is that once you are well prepared for the risks, you can face them more easily without any major problems. When starting a business, it’s important to figure out what could  go wrong and customize your business strategy.

Q5. Share with our readers about your experiment period after the discovery period?

I started my business really small, I didn’t want to seem arrogant so I worked half-free. In small steps, I also learned to value my own time and work more and was able to set a price for the work done. When you get your own world of thought in shape and you value your own work enough, you know how to set the right price for it.

Q6. What are your future plans? Or now what is your vision for next five years?

I am currently studying at a reputed University of Applied Sciences in Southern Finland and the goal is to graduate as a Bachelor of Business Administration in two years. After that, I hope that I will be able to continue working as a Photographer Entrepreneur and perhaps expand my work into Marketing as well.

Q7. How would you advice/suggest new entrepreneurs who want to start & sustain in business?

I would say feel free to chase your dreams. Don’t listen to other people’s opinions too much but do as you feel best! 

Before you start a business, plan your business strategy carefully, it is the key to success. Don’t be sad if your business doesn’t take off immediately, but keep trying, it will be rewarded someday for sure!
