Q1.How did your Musical journey start? Or Who/What inspired you to take up Music as a career?

When I was very young, I used to hear my mother play piano and sing along with it and that is how I grew my fondness for music. Gradually I started learning keyboard and guitar, thereafter when I was in 10th class I wrote my first song and since then it has been 15 years since music has never left my side. By profession I am a Cyber Security Analyst but music is my passion and hobby which I pursue very seriously.

Q2. Kindly share some information about your Music here.

My music is very much inspired by Asian music. Over the years I have written more than 20 songs but now I am working on releasing them. You can find most of my cover songs on my Instagram channel - 59secondswithdhruv

Q3. What kind of challenges did you face while starting/doing Music?

There were a lot of challenges when I started like, I never took a professional training in guitar/piano or singing, so I used to pick up the things really slow as I don't know the learning process.

But on contrary over the years, I have realised that because I wasn’t trained I found my style of music and developed my ways to learning which are not conventional but works for me.

I am still a newbie in music learning and want to learn flamenco style guitar next.

Q4. Share with our readers about your experiment period after the discovery period?

After I had discovered my style of music, I became very comfortable in that genre. Even when I used to perform in hollywood, I sang my own compositions written in Hindi and punjabi. There is a song that I wrote called “Jalti Halat Hai” which is a perfect example of how I experiment with something new other than my own style.

Q5. What are your future plans? Or now what is your vision for next five years?

My future plan is to learn flamenco style guitar playing and work on recording my own songs that are already ready.

Q6. How would you advise/suggest upcoming Musicians who want to start & sustain their career in Music?

One thing I have to say is that never lose patience in music, because it is the 'time when you do not want to pick up your guitar' - decides your musicianship.

Q7. Are you an independent pop artist/band who does originals or someone who is into cover versions ?

I am an independent artist and have written songs and poems over the years. I also enjoy jamming with musicians with different interests and blend my style of music with them.
I also love doing covers of the songs that I like but there is one thing I make sure that it does not sound like the original song.
