Q1.How did your Musical journey start? Or Who/What inspired you to take up Music as a career?
My musical journey started at the year of three as my parents are also from musical background. I started learning music from my parents at the starting age. Then I went to learn classical Music.
Q2. Kindly share some information about your Music here.
I am a singer and I usually sing contemporary music (Bengali & Hindi), folk music and Rabindra sangeet.
Q3. What kind of challenges did you face while starting/doing Music?
At the starting ages, I used to be very shy and nervous while performing. This took a lot of time to overcome.
Q4. Do share with our readers about your discovery period when you were facing difficulties in your Music career?
I remember I participated in a reality show when I was in class 7. I never faced camera and all before. So I was very nervous during the performance. My performance was not also good that time.
Q5. Share with our readers about your experiment period after the discovery period?
Practice and experience always helps you to perform better. Earlier I used to think a lot about what people would say, what the judges would comment on my singing but then I realised that this kind of thinking makes you very conscious about your performance and thus you become very nervous. So then I tried convincing myself do not worry about outcome, just enjoy the performance.
Q6. What are your future plans? Or now what is your vision for next five years?
I just want to live with music. It would be great if I could take my passion as my profession.
Q7. How would you advise/suggest upcoming Musicians who want to start & sustain their career in Music?
From my experience I can suggest to be consistent, to love what you do. Music is not something that you can do in hurry. Have your patience.
Q8. Are you an independent pop artist/band who does originals or someone who is into cover versions ?
I am an independent artist and also have a small band. I usually sing cover songs on my YouTube channel. But I do have plans to do original music soon.
Q9. If you are an independent artist/band who does originals then how and where do you see your songs getting released?
I haven't done any originals till now but I will. I have plan for future and I would definitely want those songs to be in every possible that forms of music.
